A Culinary & Coffee Journey: My Story

Let’s rewind a bit. My journey started in the heart of bustling kitchens, where the sizzle of pans and the thrill of creating something delicious ignited my passion for food. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, I spent a year in the professional kitchen, sharpening my skills and falling deeper in love with the art of cooking.
Then, life took a flavorful turn. I found myself drawn to the world of coffee, and before I knew it, I was part of the Starbucks Coffee Bahrain family. What started as a simple love for coffee turned into a seven-year adventure—two years as a barista, mastering the craft of espresso and latte art, and five years as a shift supervisor, where I led teams and helped create unforgettable customer experiences.
But dreams have a way of calling you louder when you’re ready to listen. I took a leap of faith and opened my own coffee shop—a space where coffee wasn’t just a drink but a conversation, a connection, and a story in itself. That one-year journey was exhilarating, challenging, and life-changing.
Curiosity has always been my driving force, and I wasn’t about to stop learning. I dove into the digital world, earning certifications in Google Digital Marketing, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis, and Professional Soft Skills from LinkedIn. These new skills opened my eyes to the power of data, storytelling, and how numbers reveal the deeper trends behind food, coffee, and human experiences.
Today, I channel my love for storytelling, data, and flavors into blogging, content creation, and data analysis. Whether it’s uncovering trends in coffee culture, experimenting with recipes, or breaking down customer experiences through data, I find joy in connecting the dots between passion and insight.
This journey is more than just mine—it’s ours. Through this platform, I hope to share not just knowledge, but experiences, emotions, and the simple joy of a well-brewed cup of coffee or a perfectly baked pastry.
